A ‘Med Spa’ where beauty meets authenticity – Mariposa Aesthetics

Mariposa Wellness and Aesthetics opened its doors in October of last year. The owners, Hannah Fouch and Melissa Fluharty, absolutely glow as they describe the process involved in bringing beauty and wellness to the citizens of Mariposa County. “Our center caters to adults over 18, men as well as women,” said Fouch. “This is a happy place.”

Nurses, nurse practitioners, and medically trained and licensed technicians perform all the beauty and wellness treatments. “We’re most proud of creating a spot in the community that celebrates the journey of aging. Our mission is to empower our patients, to embrace their unique features, and to guide them to achieve a more youthful appearance.”

Young people all over the world are rapidly taking advantage of these cutting-edge techniques.

Mariposa Wellness and Aesthetics welcomes local residents to their medical spa where the beauty of aging and the feelings of youthfulness are honored.

It seems like everyone coming and going has a smile on their faces. Highlights on the menu of treatments include treatment to strengthen pelvic floor muscles (incontinence), building muscle and reducing body fat, Botox and filler applications (reduces wrinkles and restore fullness to face), intravenous (IV) hydration (boosts energy, improves immune system, and enhance well-being).

There are also IV therapies that deliver nutrients and hydration directly into the bloodstream for immediate absorption, chemical peels (which reduce fine lines, wrinkles, imperfections and age spots), hormone therapy for men and women (which restores hormonal balance and vitality); and a medical weight loss program. “We believe in enhancing your natural features rather than masking them,” Fouch explained.

Fouch was born at John C Fremont Hospital, and she and Fluharty both graduated from Mariposa County High School.

“We love Mariposa and are here to stay. We’re proud of creating a healthy spot for the community where citizens can experience soothing, relaxing, caring treatments at competitive rates,” they stated.

There are nine trained professionals at this wellness center. In the same building, the historic Dexter House, there are massage and nutrition consultants available.
