Natural Resources teamshines in competition

This year, the Mariposa County FFA National Resources team consists of students learning more about California’s native plants and animals. The students worked hard, going to practices every week in order to do well in this year’s oral presentation topic on forestry.

This season’s team of hard- working students included Patrick Cleary, Owen Arnold, Annie Bryant, Emilia Williams, Madison Bull, Tillyanna Healey, Isabel Whited, and Emily Ramsey.

The team won four out of six of their contests this year. Cleary, Arnold, Healey, and Bull represented their team at the state finals at Reedley College at the end of January, concluding their season.

They captured second place in the State of California in this competition.
