Mariposa County’s newest full-service real estate office is Yosemite Realty. It is owned and operated by Rebecca Hatcher, a Mariposa born-and-bred broker, with over 15 years of experience in the real estate business.

Hatcher focuses on a family-type experience within her office which currently consists of 10 local women. According to Hatcher, this close-knit group desires to bring that same feeling of togetherness and community to each and every customer of Yosemite Realty.

For the past three years, Hatcher had managed Twiss Realty offices in Mariposa, Clovis, and Oakhurst. She made the decision to leave that real estate firm when Twiss Realty became a branch operation of a national firm, EXP Realty.

Hatcher explained that she opened Yosemite Reality with a commitment to being one of only two truly local realty offices within Mariposa.

“My biggest challenge was just going out and doing it. I knew how to start the business and my husband and I already owned the building,” explained Hatcher. Yosemite Realty opened in January of 2024.

When Hatcher and her husband, high school sweetheart Brandon, moved back to Mariposa years ago, they knew they wanted to give back to the community that had given them so much.

“Brandon and I were away for 10 years; we knew we wanted our kids to have the same experiences we had had,” said Hatcher. She is all about family, a family that includes her agents.

“I have like-minded agents in our office. We all believe in the importance of local experience as well as care, love and respect for all,” Hatcher related. “Our agents believe in collaboration and support for one another” two things Hatcher believes makes for a pleasant work environment for her agents, as well as making a top-notch real estate firm for buyer and seller alike.

The team members at the new firm are Hatcher, Maddie Swain-Preston, Shelby Negrete, Kelly Salonen, Sidney Radanovich, Alex Bauer, Lulu Varney Morehouse, Jessica Newitt, Brooke Wass and Shelly Jouett.

Not only are Hatcher’s realtors local, but they are also well-trained and stay abreast of all real estate trends and changes through constant collaboration. “We celebrate every listing, every sale together; we are family,” said Hatcher.

When asked about the strengths of her office, Hatcher quickly and confidently stated “experience.” She quickly followed up that with all of her agents having most of their experience on the local level, it gives them an advantage over other real estate offices.

“When people are buying here, they are generally moving here because of a desire for the small-town experience; we want to be the first people to offer that to them,” explained Rebecca.

Hatcher explained that her office is well prepared and ready for the current market. The recent decisions concerning the reduction of commissions within California does not faze Hatcher. “Commissions have always been negotiable; what these new regulations will encourage is just more dialogue between the sellers and us,” explained Hatcher. She is confident that sellers will understand what her company can provide to them and how her realtors will aid them in the entire process.

One thing that stood out when interviewing Rebecca is that she is confident in herself and her agents; that was something that was plainly obvious throughout the entire interview. Rebecca is confident in what she and her office will provide to her real estate clients.

The company’s website, YosemiteRealty.com, is a well put-together site filled with useful tools and information for both buyers and sellers.
Hatcher declares that she cares for her family, cares for her agents, and cares for her customers, as well as her entire community.
