The shirt, priced at $32.99, offers supporters a practical way to celebrate local history while helping sustain the museum’s mission of preserving, interpreting and sharing the stories of Mariposa County.

Founded in 1957, the Mariposa Museum and History Center has long served as a gathering place for residents, students, researchers and travelers seeking a deeper understanding of the region’s heritage. The museum was once honored by the Smithsonian Institution as “The Best Little Museum of its Size West of the Mississippi,” a distinction that continues to reflect its role in preserving the area’s legacy.
