Mariposa Bears Youth Football and Cheer seeks sponsors for upcoming season
Mariposa Bears Youth Football and Cheer is seeking business sponsors and community donations to support its upcoming season and help keep youth football and cheer accessible for local children.
The nonprofit organization serves young athletes in Mariposa through football and cheer programs, with participation opportunities for children ages 6 to 14. The program’s stated mission is to build character, sportsmanship and teamwork through safe, structured and supportive athletics. Its motto is “Building Champions On and Off the Field.”
According to publicly available nonprofit information, Mariposa Bears Youth Football and Cheer is recognized as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and donations may be tax deductible as allowed by law. Public records list the organization’s Employer Identification Number as 81-3449457.
Community support helps cover costs such as uniforms, equipment, field needs and other expenses associated with running a youth sports program. The organization says it seeks to provide local children a place to learn fundamentals, practice teamwork and sportsmanship, build confidence and participate in a positive athletic environment.
Research and youth-development organizations have long pointed to organized sports as a way for children to stay active, develop social skills and learn lessons that extend beyond the field, including resilience, responsibility, emotional regulation and respect for teammates and coaches.
Sponsors are featured on the Bears/Cheer Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/mariposabears) which the organization says has more than 1,500 followers. Donations and sponsorships may be mailed to P.O. Box 1355, Mariposa, CA 95338. For more information, email info@mariposabears.org or visit www.mariposabears.org
