Fair photo class helps exhibitors get ready

Local photographers planning to enter this year’s Mariposa County Fair will have a chance to get a little help before fair time.

A free photography mounting class will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026, in the Redbud Room at the fairgrounds. The class is designed to help exhibitors learn how to properly mount their photos for display at the fair.

Participants are asked to bring their mounting boards, photos and two-sided tape. Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and assist with the process.
