Applications are open for the Mariposa Labor Day Fair Parade

The 2026 Mariposa Labor Day Fair Parade will take place Saturday, Sept. 5, with entries stepping off at 10 a.m. through downtown Mariposa on Highway 140, organizers announced.

The annual parade, considered one of Mariposa’s long-standing community traditions, is now accepting applications frombusinesses, organizations, clubs, families and individuals interested in participating.

Hard-copy applications are available at the Mariposa Visitor Center, where completed forms may also be returned.

The deadline to submit parade entries is Sept. 1, 2026.

This year’s Mariposa County Fair and Labor Day Parade theme is “Red, White, Blue, and Ewe!”

Participants are encouraged to decorate floats, vehicles and other entries in keeping with the theme.

Organizers said they look forward to welcoming a wide range of creative entries and celebrating the community during the holiday weekend event.

The parade is sponsored by the Mariposa Lions Club.
