Rotary Club of Mariposa Yosemite Invites Community to Scholarship Golf Tournament

The Rotary Club of Mariposa Yosemite is inviting golfers, sponsors, and community supporters to take part in its Scholarship Golf Tournament on Saturday, October 3, 2020, at 41709 Road 600 in Ahwahnee, California. The event offers a welcoming day of golf while raising funds that help local students pursue education, career training, and future opportunities.

For the past 18 years, the tournament has played an important role in supporting graduating seniors from Mariposa County. Through the generosity of players, sponsors, donors, and community partners, the Rotary Club of Mariposa Yosemite has awarded more than $400,000 in scholarships. This year alone, the club was proud to award $25,000 to local students.

Each registration helps continue that legacy. Every player fee, sponsorship, and donation contributes to scholarship opportunities that can make a meaningful difference for students as they take their next steps beyond high school.

A Full Day of Golf and Community

The player fee is $125 per person and includes green fees, cart, continental breakfast, and an awards lunch. Participants will also enjoy tournament activities and friendly contests, including a Las Vegas Hole option, Straight Drive Contest, Closest-to-the-Hole Contest, mulligans, and a Hole-in-One opportunity.

Golfers may register as a four-person team or as individual players. Registration information should include player names and contact numbers and should be sent to Walter Wall at waltwillwall@gmail.com.

Sponsorship and Donation Opportunities

Community members, businesses, and families are encouraged to support the tournament through sponsorships or donations. Sponsorship levels include Platinum Sponsor at $2,000, Gold Sponsor at $1,000, Silver Sponsor at $500, and Bronze Sponsor at $250. Each contribution helps sustain scholarship opportunities for Mariposa County students.
